Terms of Service
Version 2026-09-03. This is the version recorded when you accept.
1. What Centerboard does
Centerboard connects to GitHub on your behalf to read and manage repositories, GitHub Projects boards, and their items. It stores which projects you connected, the goals you group items into, and the credentials you give it.
2. Your account
You sign in with Google, or with an email address and a password. You are responsible for keeping access to that account secure. You must be old enough to form a binding contract where you live, and you must not use Centerboard for anything unlawful.
3. Your content stays yours
Your code, repositories, boards and tasks remain yours. Centerboard claims no ownership of them. We access them only to provide the service you asked for.
4. Credentials
Tokens you provide are encrypted at rest and used only to act on your behalf.
A token used for boards must be scoped to project alone — Centerboard
refuses broader tokens rather than accepting them, so a token you give it cannot
reach your code. You can revoke any credential at any time, from Centerboard or
from GitHub.
5. Automated work
Centerboard can hand tasks to Claude Code on machines you connect. Those runs happen under your own credentials and at your own cost. You are responsible for what they do to your repositories. Anything labelled Safety-critical is never handed to an unattended run.
6. Availability
Centerboard is early software offered as-is. There is no uptime guarantee, no warranty, and features may change or be removed. We will not intentionally delete your data without telling you, but you should keep your own backups — your work lives in your GitHub repositories, which are outside our control and remain the authoritative copy.
7. Ending it
You can stop using Centerboard and delete your data at any time. Disconnecting a project removes it from Centerboard only; your GitHub repository and its board are untouched. We may suspend an account that is being used to break these terms or to harm others.
8. Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Centerboard is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost data, or lost profits arising from your use of it. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Changes
If these terms change materially, the version number changes and you will be asked to accept again. Your recorded acceptance names the version you saw.
10. Contact
Questions go to the project owner. A published contact address is coming; until then, reach whoever gave you access.
Not legal advice. These terms are a plain-language starting point written for an early-stage product. Have a lawyer review them before relying on them commercially.
